Here Somewhere is an improvisational performance with generative sound and audio-reactive virtual environment. By rendering and manipulating photogrammetric landscapes live, the piece transforms simulated topography into speculative topology.

About Kevin Sweet

Kevin Sweet is a multimedia artist and educator currently serving as Assistant Professor of Design and Interactive Arts: Immersive Experiences at the University of Texas at Dallas. An avid collaborator, he works across the sciences, philosophy, community-based arts-research and education. From developing sonic planetariums to XR community practices in ancestral resilience, his practice centers around the potential for transformation through embodied forms of creative play. His collaborative work has been exhibited internationally, including the Abbey Theatre in Dublin, Ireland, to Meta Forte in Venice, Italy.
