Artists Name: Debora Bernagozzi

Brief Bio: Artist Debora Bernagozzi works primarily with the mediums of video and photography. Her work has been exhibited in the US and internationally. Inspired by residency experiences that were transformational for them both personally and artistically, Debora and husband Jason Bernagozzi, along with Hank Rudolph, co-founded Signal Culture, an experimental media art organization that provides residencies, resources, and exhibition opportunities for artists, researchers, and innovators working in the field. She serves as Executive Director, while continuing to create and exhibit her own artwork.

About the Work (Propagation v. 2):“When I saw a photo of the site for this year’s festival, I immediately thought of water imagery moving across it. I created a new piece, Propagation 2, an immersive, abstracted journey through the Rauschenberg estate on Captiva Island.”
