Drawing inspiration from ambient music, free jazz, and classical traditions, the trio features Phil Panos on musical saw and electronics, Jess Garrett on violin and electronics, and Sarah Christiansen on flute and electronics.
Known for emotionally resonant performances, their music unfolds in a dynamic interplay of organic timbres and unique textures culled from electronic processing, moving through pieces with varied moods. The trio sets a basic format for pieces using text and sometimes graphic scores, but they leave most things up to spontaneity and chance, making each performance unique.
