Electronic Music Workshop

Sign-up for a multi-session, hands on electronic music and synthesizers building workshop led by electronic musician and sound sculptor Sean Faling at the Center for Musical Arts at 200 East Baseline Road

Learn about electronic music and build, and perform with, your own synthesizer!

This course will focus on learning about the history of electronic music and the different ways synthesizers have influenced modern music and contemporary art. Each student will have the opportunity to design and build their own electronic instrument to take home and will be invited to perform as an ensemble at the Lafayette Electronic Arts Festival(LEAF) on Friday May 5. No experience needed, all materials will be provided. This three-session course will meet each Friday leading up to the LEAF with the performance as an optional fourth session.
